Take the Tokyo Sky Tree Line or Kameido Line, exit from the east exit of Hikihune Station, turn left and walk straight. It is next to the Family Mart that you can see. The door is right in front of you at the top of the building stairs. It has a nice small, secluded atmosphere.

What's the vibe? What kind of people will be there?

The inside of the first one I went to at the end of May 2019 looked like this picture. It's a true retreat atmosphere.

First of all, the atmosphere is dark because it's a bar. But don't worry. It's very wholesome.

There was a wide range of generations in attendance, from college students in their 20s to seasoned professionals. I think. There were not many people from Russia, but mainly Japanese people gathered there. By the way, the common language is Japanese. Even if you've just studied Russian or don't know Russian, you can feel at ease.

It's not a mature atmosphere, but a place to meet people in a relaxed atmosphere Shall we? Some people were chatting with their neighbors and some were drinking by themselves. There were three large projector screens on the wall, and we were able to watch Russia-related movies and watch news You can enjoy snacks and drinks while doing so.

You can enjoy food and drink with a touch of Russia

A fusion of kasha (buckwheat seeds) and spices

There are many high-class Russian restaurants in Tokyo, and it is difficult to get to know them. However, this restaurant will solve that problem.

You can eat a lot of different foods at a relatively low price. The line-up of the menu is not just the usual borscht and other standard items, but also the unique Russian Some of them are minor. I was hungry, so I had a porridge-like mixture of kasha and spicy stuff. It was tender and delicious.

Recommended for all, whether you've traveled to Russia before or are just curious and want to go in the future event. It's probably the only place today where you can enjoy Russian food and drinks in a casual bar.

The menu is plentiful. The prices are reasonable.

A drink called xericelli. It's more like a jelly to drink than a drink. It had a floral taste and was gentle.

Of course, they also have a wide selection of classic drinks, including vodka and beer. There's also a wide variety of menus for those who don't drink alcohol. There is a wide variety of non-alcoholic beverages to choose from in Russia, so you won't get bored.

The staff is very friendly.

IAI Gallery is owned and operated by two people.

One of them is a woman who usually holds many kimono-related events. She was mainly in charge of cooking that day. The other man was a German-Russian from Moscow. We're going to hear all kinds of stories from him!

They are a good friend of the master and the proprietress, and they were running the restaurant together on the day. We hardly got to talk to the ladies, but they both seemed very friendly!

How about a Russian souvenir before you leave?

A few Russian souvenirs are also available near the return door. The famous Russian chocolates that the Japanese take home with them, such as Alyonka chocolate, Soviet badges, and more. Sweets, etc....

Even if you've never been to Russia before, or even if you've been there before and find it difficult to go now, you can easily bring back memories of Russia.

There are a few Russian-speaking events in Tokyo, but I'm not sure about Russian yet, but the Russian I need a taste of the atmosphere! For those people, I highly recommend souvenirs. They are mainly small, palm-sized, so you can easily take them home.

Usually a German bar with art.

This bar, which functions as a gallery/art gallery for rent, also offers space and projector rental. It seems to be a good idea to have a small event in Tokyo. If you want to hold a small event in Tokyo, please take a look at this.
